Local Author Visit June Pace - Sat. Nov. 16, 3pm

The Friends of the Scotts Valley Library is hosting local author June Pace, who will present and discuss her book “Benjamin McTish and The Door Through the Grandfather Tree”, the first in the series of McTish novels for YA and older (New Adult). The event will be held Saturday, November 16 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the Scotts Valley Library, and the public is invited.

Described as Harry Potter meets the Celestine Prophecy, book critiques agree, Pace matches Potter in creating a world of adventure and magic, while maintaining her own fabulous story.

The McTish Series is an explosive adventure through a dimensional Gateway into another world, Coranim, a land of insight, thought and possibilities, that sits beneath the enchanted Gilley Forest.

One day Benjamin watches as a mysterious little woman steps out of a taxi and as their eyes lock a series of visual snippets unfold in his mind’s vision. His razor sharp sixth sense allows him the freedom to explore the extrasensory messages coming at him like a derailed freight train. And when Benjamin finds a peculiar relic of a key in his grandmother’s garden shed he could never know his world was about to change forever.

The second book in the series, “Benjamin McTish and the Wizards of Coranim” will be published Autumn/Winter of 2013.

Join us at the Scotts Valley Library and June Pace enjoy some refreshments. Gift packages go out to the first 15 guests who purchase the book at the discounted event rate.
