Free Digital Media Workshop
Who: Young People Ages 10-18
When: June 19th and June 26th 3-4:30 pm
Where: Scotts Valley Branch Library
Working in pairs and groups, kids aged 10-18 learn about the language of video and how to make movies in this 2 part digital media workshop.
Robin Macomber from the Digital Media Factory will lead the workshop. Show your movie on the big screen!
Equipment is provided, and participants are invited to bring equipment such as cameras or tablets if they have it.
Registration is required. To register you will first need to enroll in our Summer Reading Program:
Sessions will be repeated in July.

Book Sale a Huge Success!! Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who came down to the Scotts Valley Library on Saturday for our Used Book Sale, and to all those who donated books for it. The book sale was a huge success - our goal was to raise $1500 to pay for summer programs and we are thrilled to say that we surpassed this goal!!
A huge thank you goes to Ellen Campos who organizes the book sale, and the book donations for the Friends!
Next book sale will be early December - watch the web site for more details, and keep the book donations coming!

Saturday, June 8 from 10am to 4pm / Fireside Room
(To enter the library before 11am come in through the patio!)
As always, a fabulous selection of books will be available - a perfect way to kick off your summer reading and get a stack of books for the kids!!
Remember, it's not too late to donate gently used books for the book sale either. Drop off books before June 6! ( Please: no textbooks or manuals :) )
And while you're at the Library take the opportunity to check out the new recently opened Patio.
