Scotts Valley Friends Welcome Derek Timm

We are happy to announce that the Friends of the Library Scotts Valley Chapter has a new president, Scotts Valley resident Derek Timm. He takes the reins from Elizabeth Walch, who has presided over our organization since its beginning. Under Elizabeth's leadership we have raised over $250,000 to fund capital improvements to outfit the new library.

Elizabeth remains a member of the Friends and will focus on the Special Needs Resource Center which she was instrumental in establishing.

We look forward to our continued success with Derek at the helm as we continue our fundraising efforts to complete an outdoor patio and build new programs at the library. This is a great time to be a 'Friend', we invite you to get involved, join us at our next Friends meeting on January 17th.
