You're Invited to the TEDx Event - Thu, Dec 1

The Scotts Valley Library branch will be hosting a special TEDx Event on Thursday, December 1 from 11:00am-6:30pm. The theme for this video event will be "TEDxWomen" and will be hosted by Pat Mitchell and live-streamed from the Paley Centers for Media in Los Angeles and New York.

It will continue the global conversation that started at TEDWomen in 2010 about how women and girls are re-shaping the future. The speakers scheduled to appear include: Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, Lauren Hodge, Barbara Walters, Dr Mehmet Oz, Jennifer Newsom and many more.

Join us at 11:00 at the Library for what will be a very stimulating day of conversation.
